Hand drawn event poster illustrations with watercolor washes, digital coloring and typography.  Sawtooth Brewery tapped me to create an iconic poster for their first ever "Hailey Alive" summer music series at Hop Porter Park.  Since I knew that the event sits within walking distance to the Big Wood River and there just happen to be some mysterious Great Horned Owls living in its woods, I decided to honor their presence and developed them as a two-member band sitting high atop the cotton wood trees.  At night you can hear them hoot-hooting, so I wanted to give them a voice that would speak to the rock n' roll that would be engulfing their surroundings.  It was such a popular poster that they asked to use it a second time the next year, changing the name to "Hailey Rocks" to avoid a conflict with the very popular "Ketchum Alive" just 20 minutes north.
